Gutsy winds

The winds here in Louisville were gusting at 75 mph last Sunday! Yahoo!~I watched it all go down, literally, from the front porch swing. Our home did not sustain any damage. We don't have any power, which to me is a dream come true. The weather since then has been gorgeous and perfect for sleeping outside, which I have been doing every night since the storm. Pretend camping! I did not have school at all last week and did a great deal of reading, walking, mountain biking and some kettlebells and yoga. I ate a ton too:) Storing it up for the long, cold winter ahead!

Hurricane Ike? People forget, these huge storms keep going once they waste the shoreline.

Howie, I enjoyed the break and perfected energy storage techniques at my favorite restaurants!

Aaron-Yes, it was Ike. It looks like a monster stomped on ever tree in the city. It was been dry too so there was lots of breaking and very little bending. I enjoyed reading your report on the TSC. I think I have found someone here to do some straight bar work with.

Taikei, That thought nails it for me. It is not about being an adrenaline junkie, it is simply the joy of the challenge and being playful while pursuing it. You coming back for another round of Level II? It looks like fun for boys...

Level 2 2010 and I'm 40 years old supposely pressing a beast. Might as well go for the oldest to accomplish beast taming.

Kate, that's harsh. These storms just don't care ~ it's not in their nature.

You're a natural for barbells. Hook up with someone for the next TSC or host one yourself. You must have a bunch of students you could talk into it.

Kate,
I love storms too. When hurricanes roll in I wonder if I wouldn't prefer to stay through it... maybe in my old age I will become a storm chaser.

RKC II will eventually replace most of the good trainers with people who can lift more weight.

Meanwhile, good trainers will continue to serve the true purpose of the RKC.

Storms are happening all around. Keep your heads.

Glad you guys made out unscathed. Do they really have real winter weather down there. It was already below freezing this morning at my house .. too cold too soon.
